Creamy rice pudding (in the Cook's Essentials slow cooker)

 

For the 1.5 litre cooker:

110g (4oz) pudding rice

25g (1oz) caster sugar

25g (1oz) butter

1.2 litres (2pts) full cream milk

How to make it...

 

Place the rice in the slow cooker and add the milk and sugar and stir well then add the butter.

 

Cover with the lid, select ‘High’ and cook for 3 hours, stirring after 1 hour.  Serve warm or cold on its own or with fresh or dried fruit.
