Easy rice (in the Cook's Essentials slow cooker)
For the 1.5 litre cooker:
225g (8oz) Basmati or long grain rice
450ml (¾pt) water
Replace 200ml (1/3pt) water with 200ml (1/3pt) canned coconut milk
How to make it...
Place the rice in the slow cooker and add the water and salt (and coconut milk if using) and stir well.
Cover with the lid, select ‘High’ and cook for 90 minutes.
Fluff with a fork then serve.
